Sometimes cob breakage just comes down to a difference in varieties of corn. Some cobs break easier than others.

My neighbor took all the reverer bars out,and put the F rasp bars in the cage,now he run pretty much whole cob.But like Silver Bullet said some varieties just break up more too.Neighbor has a R-72.

Yes rasp bars from a F series,bolted to the cage on the separator end.Not used on the rotor.There is a picture in the Hyper Mods section on this board.I think the neighbor put 3 bars in his R-72.They are put in on the bottom of the cage.Hope this helps,other people here can probably explain it clearer than me.
