I think your looking at a 3 row corn head and a 13ft. grain head at the maximum for this machine.A 550 is a lot more of a machine without getting too much bigger in overall size. You could put a 15ft. grain head on it as well as a 4 row corn head. The 550 took over for the 510 and I've seen some with 6 row corn heads on them though I don't recomend it. Doesn't seem like a lot of machine for that kind of acreage. Guess you can get it done if you have the time to spend. I think it will handle a 4 row corn head easily - I've used a 4 row on a 410, and it worked fine. Wouldn't try a 6 row though. How big are your fieldsIJ It would be very manueverable in small fields with point rows. And you could run it down the road with a 15' grain table without much trouble.
