We could show up the neighbor with his 540 with our F3 on regular basis. My opinion would be the Gleaner would be easier to work on. Around here parts and support are a lot better. Maybe it was the operator, but he had a lot more break downs and never had as clean a sample with more left on the ground.
the 550 is a much better machine than the 540. the 540 had gear problems. the 550 will do you a real good job but when you are done with it, no value. I just seen a late model silver cab, 13 ft head, 430 corn head, very nice condition brought 2700 for the package.
