A TR-99 will do a fine job with a 6-30 head as you can go as fast as the corn head can take the corn in (about 5-8 mph). It is more important to keep the combine full in soybeans or wheat than corn. I'm not sure you know this but a TR-89 is the same combine as a 99 with a little less hp (240 vs. 280). I am going to combine 30-75 bpa corn with my TR-98 and 8-30 corn head this year so it will not get a big workout also.
