j72, do you think that Bunge will buy those beansIJ If so how much discount per bushel would that beIJ We talked to the insurance man today and were told that we would have to cut the beans and then see if they would sell. If they don't we will also have 2 bins full of nothing!! Ol boy cut south of town maybe he can give us a report on the condition of his beans. This had been some fall!! T3

T3- we went by and checked with bunge and they said NO. 10% was their limit. checked with cargill(guntersville) and sorry also,they wanted to help but couldn't. afc said they would take them(literally),but it may not be anything left to put in the pocket.when and if it does get pretty we are moving to better quality baens and try to save them.

We have a locl guy who has a soybean roaster, will travel, that will salvage those types of beans. Might give him a call - Walter Steely 270 753-0967 - only thing I can think of to help.

roasted for what purposeIJIJIJIJ to sell at market or for feed purposeIJIJIJIJ we can get them dry, but they are just rotten and shrivelled and damage is getting worse day by day.
