My 36 ft head no problems. The gards are heavier so you will break less of them, but you will break the sections. I only broke 2 gards and a box of sections. The system reminds me of the Schumacher system, where the gards are heavier. I believe they bought the rights to the Schumacher drive because that is what is on it. If you have to replace a section, the holes are long gate and the bolts will drop out of cicle, and there is never any reason to remove the gard. The dealer had mentioned to me after he saw the operation and the features it has. He said to me it is going to be darn hard to get rid of the older heads, do I think you're right about the jocky. Maybe ask another dealer about trading in a 2 year old head and get his opinion of price.

Everyone i talk to say the hydroflex works great in wheat. Everybody likes the way it feeds into the combine. People also like the reel resume. If you demo one you won't go back the 900 series.
