Your cornhead should be a mid 1980's as the serial numbers started at 10001 and up. The 1981's started at 11001 and up.Hope this helps, Hyper Harvest II
Thank you that helps. The AGCO website parts manual does not list a 1980 corn head for a M-l machine that I could find only a 1980 for an N machine. From the best I can tell the unit frame and the snaping rollers on my head are the same as the 1981-1987.
My point rolls on the snapping rollers are worn down and need to be replaced the dealer wants $325 per row. There is a company in Il that rebuilds them but only on IH and JD heads. Does anyone have a suggestion. This website has been so great I hope that I can be as helpful to others. Thank You!!!!!
