649T and 649I are the same except intercooler for added engine life at upped HP. Simply recalibrate injection pump and add an intercooler w_plumbing off 7020 or 145HP Gleaner or other 649I engine.

I added the intercooler the results will surprise ya. I think this is the motor used in the 7045 isn't it. Added 40 ponies without touching pump adjustment.

Nope. Used in the 7010 and similar in 8010. 7045 was 670T. 649T=6 cylinders, 4.9 liter, turbocharged. 649I= same as above except turbocharged AND intercooled.

Thanks for the correction had a 7020 in the past and still have the 45 get the numbers messed up. I imagine the intercooler would give same results on other engine to though.
