I think the 20 series combines were made until 1988IJ I know the titan 2's came out in 85 0r 86. they were set up to shake the chaffer and seive faster, but many almost shook themselves apart,so people put the slower drives back on. as far as other things the tach display was easier to read,h.p. may have been beefed alittle. if your lookin at a 6620, go with a hydro model not a varible speed. I know the h.p. is less w_ a varible.

The "yellow cab" 6620 was manufactured from 1979 to 1984 until the Titan II "green cab" took over until 1988. The basic changes between the two series were cleaning area and cylinder speed. The cleaning area was increased from 4478 square inches to 4887 and the cylinder speed was changed from 430 to 1230 RPMs to 350 to 1240 RPMs. And of course, the decals and the color of the cab roof was changed. Hope this helps!

as long as we are getting technical, the old cylinder gearbox was replaced with a two speed unit giving the slight difference in output speed. the cleaning area was stretched only about 6" in the tailings area to make room for the corner return openings to allow grain mixed with other material to be shoved through the new larger return elevator for some slight improvement in sidehill operation (which did not come about). Also the shoe was speeded up but not strengthened which tears up the shoe basin, kind of not what you want. Most of these have been thrown away and replaced with the 84 and back gearing. GS

Make shure you buy one that has the heavier rear axle on it.

I thought all 6620 were hyrdo. I know that some of the 6600 were variable speed.
