That 6620 down here would probably bring $20,000 to 25,000. I know I would give at least that much for a 6620 if I could find one in excellent condition with that low hours that had been on a dairy farm harvesting corn and small grain. Down here in VA most combines have been harvesting beans, which means that they have also run a fair amount of sandy Southeast VA dirt as well.

Keep on looking - you'll find an individual that has one for sale at a good price. Just my 2 cents - a 6620 vs. 6620 T2 are too close in capacity to pay extra for a T2 - save your $$$ and find a 79-84 model in good shape. 95man

Got one we will sell if we could make up our minds and find a machine to replace it with probably 95_9600. 1984 6620 Gilcrest 4x4, rice machine but we don't raise rice and never cut any, most machines down here were ordered as rice for the HD finals and skids, long fixed feeder house, 24.5-32R-2 firestones 99%, 16.9-26 R-2 gy's 70%, corn chopper, air foils top and bottom, 6 wing beater, 2spd cyl drive, 300 hrs on clean, tailings, and feeder chains, new chopper knives, R-134A, new alternator, grain loss, dial a matic, 216 flex needs skids, reel is 100% with easton reel wraps, points are perfect. No rust, shedded 24_7, self operated, no labor on it, 22xx hrs, in south central louisiana. If is a spike tooth with one season on spikes but I'm sure I can find a rasp conversion cheap if need be. Curt, You're going to be in the 2.5 - 3.0 mph range with the 6 row. Is it a Titan or Titan 2IJ I believe it has a 166 bushel grain tank. If any more IJ's just reply. later, 95man

We had someone custom harvest some corn for us a few years back with one of these. I can't remember exactly but I think it was just a turbo model with RWA. thanks for your info. Curt

If you are in the market for a 6620, look at the 7720's also, as many are priced the same as the 66's. 95man

Acctually I own a Gleaner M2 and I'm very pleased with it. I was just wondering about what some of the differences would be if I went with the 6620. As far as bushels per hour I think they are about the same, considering I have a six row corn head and moving at the same speed you mentioned. Don't get me wrong I'm not here to start an arguement I was just curious, and your replies were more than helpful. Thanks again, Curt
