I would go with 7's all of the way unless you are always in short height crops. 8" feeds better in short wheat, etc. 7's will give you better feederhouse floor life and more clearance for higher feed rates. Kelly
Would you recommend 7 drums for P1 combinesIJ By the way, bleeding pressure off the reel lift circuit before disconnecting helped quite a bit but it didnt eliminate occasionally having to bleed hydraulic oil from the head. Thanks Tom in MN
Personally, I would run the 7" drums on all models unless you plan to harvest short crops all of your life. Put that header in the shed when you unhook from it. That will stop the pressure problem. Kelly
