If memory serves correctly hp on a 7250 is around 250. Might want to confirm that with a CIH dealer. Have had 7120, 7230, and not MX240. Don't think you can find a better tractor for the value.
I just bought a 7250 last spring. Had my dealer check it over and was turning 240 hp. Developed a fuel leak at the injection pump and ended up needing a rebuild, was told it's a common problem with the Nippondenso pump on this tractor. Now turning 263 hp. No other problems, I really like the powershift transmission.
7250's are really nice tractors and are powerhouses. most of them turn a lot more horse than they are rated. There much better tractors than john deere.
