Sounds like you are on the right track so far, but since you did not mention the concave, I'll tell you how we set ours. I put the concave lever about 1_2 way down, the VERY carefully set each side of the rear at 3_4" using a piece of 3_4" keystock fitting between a cylinder bar and the concave bar accessable thru the small rear doors on each side. It is critical that the concave be level and closer in the back than the front. With the concave set in this area, vary your cylinder speed keeping it as slow as possible until you are getting whole cobs up on the straw walkers. When this happens you should be able to open a the top front sieve a little extra to get corn directly to clean grain and not overload the shoe. Also don't open the rear of the bottom sieve too much as it diverts too much air from the front of the shoe. Hope these ideas help you.

thanks- i also found something eles that helps, on the cleaning fan, its not soild all the way across, and was getting leaves in the bottom sive. put a piece of chicken wire over it, and problem solved,
