As far as I know the 372 only came out with the series 1 here in Australia,we had two of them and they seemed to be good motors and economical on fuel.A couple had harmonic balancer problems.The first series 2's with the 354 turbo was also only rated at 115 hp the same as the 372 compared with 140 hp on the 760's.john

the 372 were generally considered bad news and not good for high hours. The later 354.4turbo is a lot better engine although it is smaller it generally runs a lot longer. Make sure it is not a straight 354 turbo though they are not so good

We had a 750 years ago that had a 372 non-turbo engine with variable belt ground drive.The engine performed flawlessly for years.Not the high horsepower of today`s engines but I would bet that engine could still win today on lowest fuel consumption per acre.Just my 2cents.

Have had balancer problems and broken cranks on the 374's here in this area, go with the 354.4.
