You might check to make sure that the unloader swing valve is centering after you use it. If it doesn't, the oil heats up and causes the poppet to melt. A little WD-40 may just do the trick.
Had a customer that was having the same problem. Come to find out the rear spindle bearing on one side was gone and was turning hard causing the oil to heat. worth a look!
