The top one turns at a different speed I believe
cookie_jar Guest Oct 30, 2004 #2 You're right. Thank you. The top one drives a 31 t sprocket which drives a 44 t sprocket for the other 4 paddles. So the top paddle goes at 142% of the speed of the other paddles. I guess the Massey Engineers knew what they were doing after all.
