im assuming its the left as in the cab side but before u start remove the auger drive idler shaft that bolts up to the landing where the belt is on 1 side and the chain on the other gives u a heap more room and its only 4 bolts from memory other than that its not to bad a job compared to doing the bearing on the vari-speed side

Its not bad, get a good puller and you might have to heat it some. Its like most jobs after the first time its easy.

Don't forget your ankle weights as well. It is very heavy and will suck you down into that hole if your not ready for it.

like was said before the pulley is not hard if you have a good puller. I didn't have one so I used a porta power and a thick flat steel plate. I first took the smaller pulley off of the big one , then drilled holes into the plate to match up with the ones in the big pulley. then I got some threaded rod, stuck them through the plate, and screwed them into the big pulley, put the ram between the plate and shaft, and she came right off. And do BE CAREFUl, the pulley is heavy, and in kind of an awkward place to boot. To make it easier to handle, I removed the grate on the deck between the cab and grain tank. This right above the pulley. I then attached a rope to the pulley run it up over a pulley mounted to a truss above, and back down along the side of the machine. I then tied a 75n weight to the other end, and I was able to lift and align the pulley back to the shaft with little effort. Good luck Joe

I agree once you do it once the next time it will go better. I had MF750 for 17 years and had to change that bearing 4 times when I discovered that the grease was not getting to the bearing right. ground a grove in bearing shell so grease could get to bearing and never had any more trouble with it

i couldnt get a greasable bearing when mine went, all we could get was a sealed unit so that whats in there have mixed feeling about greasing bearings have noticed over the yrs that the ones with out a grease nipple have a habit of lasting a lot onger than those with
