Combines 750 shaker shaft

I broke the shaker shaft in my 850 back in 1992 for no apparent reason. I changed the shaft and all the grain pan bearings and the shaft and shaker arm bearings and never had any other problems again. I do wonder if the bearing on the shaker arm drive had been going bad and I didn't catch it soon enough and the extra slap may have put extra strain on the crank drive arm.

I have seen a number of them broken this way also,and I don't know why it happens. Maybe just all the vibration. Maybe try an aftermarket on instead of an MF oneIJ Most all the aftermarket people carry them.
