The manual is a little misleading -- JD doesn't consider the very front crossbar to be a crossbar. Set the concave vs. cylinder at 1_4" from the 3rd crossbar from the front and 1_8" from the 3rd crossbar from the rear. You'll need to rotate the cylinder to determine which cylinder bar comes closest due to tweaks in the cylinder mounting spiders.
