Check all the grounds!!! Whenever you have strange things like this happening, 90% of the time it is a ground issue. Somehow you are probably backfeeding the radio, a_c etc through the turn signal. Check to see if the cab is properly grounded, then head to each piece of equipment and check them for continuity to ground. Hopefully this helps!!

Okay, this is'nt as strange as it appears. Your lighting circuit is functioning properly. No, really. The light switch and the flasher switch get power from two different places. 'Scuze me whilst I get on my soapbox:

not to worry about the wiring problem,I had a business setting up new combines for a lot of years and still work on them for farmers in the winter. All the 20 series combines have the same oddity.Only when the flashers are on and you turn the signal on all the cab functions will come on with the key in the off position.

When the engine was running are you certain you had the key in the "on" position(of course you normally would) but the engine does run with the key off.The reason I ask is I have only observed the cab functions going on,off by moving the turn signal lever with the key in the "off" position engine running or not. Based on that I would first check to see if you have a defective ignition switch that is causing the other interesting things to happen.I wonder if you are getting juice through your switch even when it is in the"on" positionIJ You can pull the dash away from the firewall and access the switch. Check it with a test light or an ohm meter. If on the other hand someone has modified the wiring harness before you aquired the machine....humm you might take three asprin and hope it goes away.
