Yes, change the oil and filters after sitting that long as I'm guessing that condensation over time has allowed some moisture to get into the oil. Also change your tranny oil and final drive oil while you're at it. You might want to get some fresh antifreeze in it also. As far a differences on the 7720's the T2 has the better tailings elevator, a chaffer that is a bit larger, fatser shoe auger amd tailings speed, dual range cylinder and several small design improvements that made them more reliable. 95

i would give that machine a drive before changing the heavy oil in the final drives and transmission it needs to be warm to drain.... -M.

by speeding up the shoe it caused the housing to fracture. So if you want this thing not to break, which is really expensive, go to deere and get the drive gears for '84 and back machines. Most guys found this out around here the hard way. Good luck, you have a lot of machine for probably less than half the cost of a 9500 which is no bigger.

Pay attention to what the man says about slowing down the cleaning shoe speed on the Titan II. Do it if it hasn't already been done to your machine. Almost every knowledgable Deere shop foreman will support this recommendation.
