check the wire connections. if it quits again and it wont start u can bolt it together. i think the bolt size is 7_16 . better double check the bolt size

I think the hydro light is for oil temp. I would check the cooler in front of the radiator for being plugged. A worn hydro can build up heat, more heat when going at road speed, or up long hills. If the gap on the electric clutch is too big, it will not pull the clutch disc to the armature, also the brush set screwed into the end of the primary countershaft could be worn and the carbon brushes inside hanging up, tapping on the clutch brings the brushes back into contact.

Thanks for the input guys. If the gap on the electric clutch is too big, can I adjust that or do I need new clutch platesIJ I never thought of the hydro oil alarm being on temp! It was a very hot day (95 deg.) and I had just pulled out of a 90 acre field so the cooler might have been a little plugged up. I will give it a good cleaning. Thanks again...RNM
