Your 4th gear problem could be the splined coulpler between the transmition and the hydro, but they usally ratchet and then just strip out. I would think it is the high psi releif for forward on the hydro. you can switch forward and reverse releif valves to see if it is the problem. And if you are asking about the rear charge housing tin below the swivel on the unloading auger, yes you can replace the tin without removing the horizontal unloading auger.

It doesn't sound like your coupler, but if you want to check or change it just take out the bolts on the hyro and replace them with some long ones and slide it out enough to get to the coupler. Saves alot of work.

Hey thanks. Is it a bear to replace that housing on the charge augerIJ I kinda felt the same on that coupler especially since we're pulling so much mud and it doesn't slip in the field.

I would switch the high psi releif valves first, takes about 15 min. The housing tin is a pain, as you do have to drop the virticle unload auger out the bottom, after taking the tailings off.

Just thinking about that housing, and I think their is a serial number break where you would not have to take the virticle auger out, and might slip the tin down out the rear side.

I think it is the hydro belts that need adjusting, when they get a little loose the hydraulic cylinder on the belts take up the slack and causes it to jump
