Combines 8 row on a 750

Neighbors run a 8-30 on an 850 and they move on pretty well. I know the walkers in an 850 are longer, I don't know if the screens are longer too. I believe that if your combine has the black 354 (dot4) it can be turned up to the same hp as the 850. My 750 is short on hp with a 6-30 in 180 bph corn when the tank is full or on hills. My pump if set to original specs.

P.S. They run a 22' bean header and run 25' on a 9500 Deere. The 850 will make a round every time the Deere will.

No way! We have a late model charge cooled MF 850 and it doesn't run the MF 1163 very well. That's with 159 HP, Your engine only has 153 HP. Horsepower is the limit to this machines capacity in corn. We ran an MF 860 (180 HP) at one time where I work and this machine ran the 6 row head excellent, with power to spare. You may be able to turn your power up some, but not without wasting fuel and smoking. If you only grow 100 bushel corn and want to drive slower than mollasses in December, maybe you could do it. Remember, if your beater speed drops below 700 rpm under load, the capacity and effectiveness of the machine will suffer.
