Combines 800 series head mods

yes. These are options if needed in certain applications and conditions. Use them if you need them. Wear is a factor of cycles and load.

My biggest complaint is cutting beans. Even with a 30' head you need to run 4-5 in beans to keep the machine full. The standard sickle is fine for about the first 2 or 3 days then it seems like it loses its edge and starts doing a pretty ragged job of cutting and it gets worse. Some say an SCH sickle will be a big improvement, others say speed up the head.

The SCH sickle is a good choice, we ordered the combine with one on it. I don't like the idea of speeding the sickle up becouse of wear items.
