You likely have to slow up hydralics and close the accumulator. Set header full drop and full raise to 8 seconds. The feeder house potentiometer is for the return to cut feature when running rigid header or header without ground feelers. Might have to see why that plate is sagging to prevent plugging problem. Plastic skids greatly reduce pushing problem.

You need to slow your tilt gain on the hydraulics. I run a 830, and have a tilt gain of three. It goes I think from 1-8. When you first turn on your auto height and tilt, it flashes what the gain is. If you need to lower it, look in the Smartrac manual, and it should walk you through it.
