A couple things the 8000 will have which 800 didn't. New infinite height control. Kit can be installed to convert back to three position. About $1000US will convert your combine to accept infinite control. Infinite control is nice in that it provides a return to cut feature for operation of rigid head operations. 8000's should have the HCC level two reel if it has the HCC. Raised feather sheets may be on the 8000. Spring belt tentioner for wobble box was removed from early 8000's so be sure to get kit to install it. If you are looking at a 25' or larger head with SCH sickle be sure it has the extra rib on the far left skid plate. If not get it and best to install heavy A-frame stabilizer at the same time. Universal joint drive shaft is nice on 8000's. One point electrical hookup is also nice. You will need an adaptor for this and it will depend on what you go with as far as height control to utilize one point hookup. A large step up from your 800 will be coming soon but it will surely come with a price. Sneak peaks look like you asked for it you got it. Very encouraging!!!
