Have run a 800 series head with a Crary reel since 1998. In tough conditions like short, green beans in terraced fields it works great. It keeps the crop feeding evenly with no or very little bunching on platform. It definitely saves slipclutch wear and lets you drive a little faster. Also blows back any shattered beans from the cutterbar. Only downfall is that blows up a little more dust on a still night. A feeder house dust diverter might help.
