Is your 8000 head wore outIJ If it isnt,I would think with a few mods and the single point hookup it would fit your combine. But I may be wrong about that. If I could find a 8000 new that would fit,put the pro drive on it,and you have a 8200 less the full finger auger.Which caused alot of problems this year.The 30ft is not enough head for that 9895. I ran one this fall in green stem beans and was running 7.3 mph.I would go with a 36 ft draper if I were you and the cash is there. I talked to a guy in Princeton Ind. He said the new Macdon FD70 were made so that you only change the back plate to fit another brand combine,instead of the whole 12000 dollar piece that you had to change on the older macdons.So the resale should be better now on the drapers. I priced a 40 draper,60,000. Have you ran a 9895IJ They are a beast IG
