Went out and opened up a few places still a bit wet but it runs great so far. Goin 2 mph faster than 2388 plus the sample is better than i thought it would be for the rotor bein so agressive. Hopefully get goin in 10 days or so have yet to push it and see how the power boost is otherwise it feels great on power

Watch out for the New Holland cleaning system. Anything high in moisture it will crap it out the back. Don't believe the rumors of the 8010 having a cut tire at the Farm Progress Show (there were too many resources within a stones throw to fix such a problem at that show). The crop was so wet that both the CR970 and 8010 couldn't keep anything in.

No CATMANDONT we like our 8010 so were not going to burn it. Now if we had a Yellow Class maybe we would have too because around here the only people to take off your hands are insurance company does this answer your question.

From what i saw at the fps is that no one machine was doin a excellent job. I was very disappointed in the cat i thought he left more than his share but thats my opinion. I was also disappointed why deere did not show the 9860 too. Also talked to 3 company reps they all said it was too wet period so i doubt any machine goin to be a blockbuster.

Supposedly John Deere used the 9760 because it does a better job in these conditionsIJ The only difference I've seen between the two is that the 9860 has a bigger engine, more horsepower. Talking with the CNH guys, they were wishing they had run the CR960 and a 2388, would have been able to do a more efficient job. It was too wet they couldn't push it hard enough to maintain maximum capacity, so the combines weren't at full performance and looked like they were doing a crappy job.

Well CATMANDONT I thought you knew more about CASE COMBINES than you actually do. To start with case has 1 roter, bigger clean grain, differant fan, differant return, differant feeder drive shaft to run the head, I could go on and on. But whats the use to explain it to you, you sound pretty color blind. Just think of red when you go in to spend all that green to rebuild your insides after a 1000 hrs. And you just are not happy unless you are smarting off. So go back to your Deer or Cat page for you really do not know nothing about combines.

jeepers guys you can sit here and argue all day about what is better give me any combine and i can make it run just as good as the others. If i work with it some i hold operators responsible if they dont like the machine they have its cause they dont get in to playin with it and finding the right way to set it and run it
