How many hours do have on your 8010 nowIJIJ Is the new trans a "update" or are they just replacing it with another stock oneIJ If it's just another stock one, I think I'd make sure they warranty it from the date it was installed.

lol couldn't agree more! Better make sure that they found out how important it is to have a slip clutch on the clean grain elevator too. Oh yeah and that they got all the plastic shavings out of the fuel tanks.

A 8010 is not a New Holland...Case was working on it long before the merger, and yes they are built at the same factory but they are not the same parts as a New Holland. A lot of people on here know a lot more of the differences than I do, but they are not the same machine. It is not a New Holland combine....its red and was designed buy Case not New Holland.

New holland gave case the basic platform and some rules... But yeah case filled in from there Case IH was actually makeing another combine that was 10 or 15 percent bigger than the 8010... but new holland said nope...go with our design just make a few changes

I was told at an 8010 presentation that only 20% of the parts are the same between the New Holland and the Case IH.

I know the local CaseIH dealer has taken on Cat combines . Not sure if it is because of the problems with the 8010's or just availability of them . Joe

Are you talking VincetsIJ I also think it's beacuse of the problem 8010s. From what I hear, they've sold to CATs so far. Take care, Nathan
