Combines 8010 Feeder House Noise

are the chains out of lineIJ are teh scrapers mis adjusted at the top it's not normal what year machineIJ

farmertony..........I have a 2006 8010. As far as we can tell, the chains are not out of line and don't have any scrapers yet. When empty, the feeder house runs totally quiet. It sounds to me like a chain slap.

We installed a roler kit it our 06 and that took all the noise out of it. They should be standard equipment but there not.

how much was the roller kitIJ my 06 8010 has some noise too from the feeder house and it does have the update with the scrapers in it.. still have noise as well...

the newest scrapers look good where did you get the rollers fromIJ

The rolers are black ace. We are not runing the new scrapers by the sprockets the rolers will not work with them on. I have had it on o4 since new and just recently installed on 06. Pretty much the same as we ran in the 80s and 88s last 88 we got rid of was 98 model with original feeder chain. You dont here the chain runing on them. There is no drilling just bolt in to existing holes. If you are still intererested the fellows name is Dennis that makes these. His phone n 701 279 5594. I dont no the cost yet I would guess maybe a 1_4 higher than the 2388s.Actually he wanted to know how they held up in high yeilding corn. 2 full seasons on 04 no problems. We have been runing the 8010s and 1062 flex drapers the last 2 days the combines have performed excellent what a nice change over the very reliable 2388s we use to run

hows the 06 feed compared to the 04 does it have the newer style vanes in the coneIJ I want mine changed to it as they are changing the rice combines to improve feeding. TS

look at your gearbox last year we had same problem it was from gear box it needs some updates
