I sympathize with you also, I also believe CNH is weak. I bought one of the first production year STX's and I also feel that it has had it share of down days, and if you really want CNH junk we traded a Cat 45 for a new Fiat (CNH) loader. Boy was it a pile from get go, and did I ever have to fight to get things fixed. If you can get out of it, I believe I would. CNH isn't the company that it once was, in my opinion.

We had a new MX200 a few years ago that the hyd pumps kept going out of it. I think 3, the third time was enough we gave it back to them for another new one. the about a year later we traded a 8920 for it again and had no more troubles I don't think CNH can be blamed for their suppliers bad products, but they get the brunt of it. they need to buy quaility not price.

I guess you had a eary MXIJ we have a 200MX thats a 2002 model and its been great we also bought one of the new 16_31 planters and we had one pump go out on it but that was it its a awesome machine and i hated to hear about that guys STX not turning out ive not heard alot of bad stories on those were going to get a 325 soon so i hope our luck is better than his
