1100 could be too much fan and blowing grain to the back of the shoe and in the tailings. try slowing the fan and see what happens. Should have the corn chaffer, lower shoe doesn't matter so much once you are running it wide open
Tried slowing down the fan thinking that it was blowing grain into the return, my thinking it was the wrong shoe is I can start cutting and no return shows until I'm at least 400 feet in to the row. lower shoe max opening is 3_4" and wet corn at 30% doesn't slid very well. Thanks for the tip.
