Are you sure that 8010 was set up correctlyIJ We pick up 36-foot swaths with 2188's_2388's at 7,5km_h in crop going 2 to 3t_ha. Or was your crop high-moistureIJ We run at about 12-15%.

Yeah I have to agree, a machine like that struggling at 9km (4-5 mph) with just a 1t_acre or 2.5t ha) crop to the acre of barleyIJIJ Particularly with the new AFX rotor in it. You are very fortunate if your average yeild is 5-7t_ha in your area. Just out of interest, have you done the figures on how much you would have to cut per year to cover costsIJ What size front are you putting on itIJ Are you taking it north to do the harvest this yearIJ What hourly rate do you think it is worth and how many acres_ha per hour would you expect to cut, in wheat up to 3t_haIJ like I said before, I seriously question the economics of class 7+ machines in lighter conditions as there is only so fast you can go across a paddock (even more so in crops like chickpea or lentils),but I would be interested to see figures to counter that. Cheers Bundy.
