Combines 8010 was at Farm Progress Show

Yeah what a first day!!!!!!!!!!!!! No sun...kinda windy but great weather for it and not alot of people.... Missed the harvest demo.. Also ive not heard about the 330 HP Do you mean the 06 modelIJ just curious Also with the price on disel can i downgrade my hpIJ haha

The sales rep was pointing to the 2388 on display as he was talking about the hp increase, so I don't know if it was a 05 or 06. CW

Reading out of "Product Enhancement for 2006 Model Year 2300 Combines". 2388 HP is up to 285 on the 8.3 l Tier three "Full Authority Fuel Control" (electronic control)engine. A 20hp boost, also a 20hp rise for a 325hp max. 2377 has 255hp with a 20hp boost and a 15hp rise for a 290hp max. Also a new heavy duty 3sp rotor gear case w_ helical cut gears for increased durability and strength, a new and stronger inverted spliceless rotor belt which is 1" shorter because of a repositioned rotor drive gear case. Every year it gets tweaked with small improvements, been doing this for 30 yrs, a big time advantage over the short time competitors.

Sounds good and yeah that 3 sp gear case needed changed... i understand why they went to that design but it didn't work as well as the 2 sp

yeah usually case does look better in test... I remember they had a wagon type deal with clear panels showing each combine matched up to another and what a surprise
