There have not been any problems around here,they been good tracters.The Sisu diesel is second to none.

I agree with onion farmer. Yup that Sisu is nice powerplant. MF 6100 series had problems with that electronic shuttle but 8100s has mech stick wich is proven. I dont own any but know a guy who has 8150 and is happy with it.

Thanks for the info going to ask dealer if i can try for a few days to see if i can get used to the tractor. THANKS FOR THE HElP.

Good choice. The 8100 series is a superb tractor only exceeded by the 8200's. It will not take you long to get used to the tractor. Happy farming.

Due to the fact that I am changing occupations, I have a 1998 MF 8160 MFD with 1150 hours FOR SAlE that I bought brand new. It has plenty of power, shifts very smooth(you will love the transmission),and has great fuel economy. It's a very reliable tractor. It is in excellent condition and has always been shedded. I'm the only one who runs this tractor so I know it has not been abused. I do not have any hired hands. I'm located 30 miles southwest of Des Moines, Iowa. You will not find a cleaner or more well-kept 8160 than this one.
