I think they are a very good head. With a 3" sections and the skid pads sucked up in to the low-cut position. lots of old 820s floating around out there with 1-1_2" cut and skid pads set to "high" cut, it makes you so sick you almost want to go back over their field and get that 10 bu_ac that's still out there. Young's custom Ag also rebuilds them, tipping down the cutterbar at a slight angle. Boy does that make them shave. They've been talked about on here quite a bit before. Yes you can pick up really nice ones for $200-500. I wonder how many the iron man has cut up this year.

i have 2 of these heads, one with tiger jaws, i don't have any problems yet, i've had them for 5 or 6 years. i did have a problem breaking sickle sections one year, then thanks to the guys on here, i found out the pickup fingers on the reel were to long and getting in the sickle. i raised them a bit and had no more problems. thanks guys!
