You should have 2 hex shafts sticking out from the side by the door. One by the sensor that tells you the door is open and one in the hole in the side of the machine where you look at the door itself. The one they intend you to hold the door with is the one by the sensor. I personally don't use this one. If you get your door wrench on the other hex shaft and push the door up while holding it towards the rear of machine then when you can no longer push it up any more you should roll the door wrench upward (while still holding up tightly) which will rotate the door catch over the concave and push the latching mechanism into the rollers. Once you do this a couple times it is actually easier than it sounds. If for some reason it doesn't latch fairly easily then something else may be wrong. let us know. Kirk
