Combines 850 front concave adjustment

It was a bad design. I had a 760 that had the same design. They changed that design in about 1983 and it had a wider adjuster. BE CAREFUll, BECAUSE I HAD MINE VIBRATE DOWN AND THEN WHEN A SlUG HIT IT IT SlAMED UP AND DOWN AND BROKE THE SHAFT AND IT WAS TERRIBlE TO FIX. I have a late 860 now and no longer have the problem.

I had this happen on my 82 860.I cleaned and tightened up the spring, it helped a little. Then I noticed that the pin through the lever in the cab was only catching in the notch on one side of the lever. I had to center the pin( I think it was just a rolpin) so it caught in both notches and haven't had any problem for the last 4 years. HTH Joe
