If the crop is fit they run very easily biggest problem is getting them in the front ideally you need bats rather then tines on the reel as tines catch the heads and spike them Dont know what pans are but if they extend the fingers they would be a good idea The crop will run easier if you have an elevator chain rather than the paddle type but if the crop is very fit it will make no difference
