hmm if it runs fine now,,,,,only thing I can think of is if the hyd pump goes to full stoke it takes about 25+ hp to pull it. Check stand by pressure.

No, it is not running at all. I cannot get it to start. Motor will not turn over. Is there anyway to relieve the pressure on the Hyd pumpIJ Or can I disconnect the top drive shaft to bypass the hydraulic loadingIJ Can the standby pressure be check with the engine not runningIJ I do have a shop manual I will try to find a procedure for checking the standby pressure.

Has the 1800 RPM trans pressure light been working and is the engine oil pressure light on with engine stoppedIJ Sounds like two different problems. Don't like the sound of having to rock tractor to get going. Sounds like gear was seizing to shaft but I would think that would of happened during operation and likely wouldn't of been able to drive other than in gear that seized. Engine pulling down, stoping and then not cranking with any speed worries me about tight rod or main bearing. Worries me about low oil pressure at idle causing a bearing to tighten up! Hope I'm all wrong!!!
