Make sure the beater has the steel bolt on blade attached. My 8560 did not have this after coming from the dealer "field ready" I would plug the thing in any tough grain and after two years I looked at the parts book and noticed these bars. It is nothing more than a flat plate about 1_8 inch X 1 the whole length of the beater. It protrudes from the beater no more than 3_8 inch but boy, what a difference in feeding. I haven't had the beater wrap since nor have I plugged it. Make sure you fasten the blades with good quality ( maybe gr 9 ) carriagge bolts. I over tourqued the bolts and had the heads pull off. I realized what I had done about 1_10 of a second after all H--l broke loose.
