Just like you gleaner know it all's to ridicule a man who wants some info about his combine. Pretty stupid and uneccesary comment if you ask me. My $.02

KIDROFF, Go to the Gleaner page and you will see why John said that because Bov answered a Question over there in the same manner. So you must think the same of Bov doing that over there rightIJ

Old Chinese Proverb Say, "He who sling mud for no reason, get into massive mud slinging contest!" And before you speak out of turn look at the Response Time of Bov's VS mine. We at the Gleaner Page get tired of the other color owners with the exception of CaseIH and New Holland(which BTW leave us alone)of being ARROGANT and OBNOXIOUS on our page. Sad that you Massey people stir up such a problem when YOU WERE BOUGHT BY the AllIS GlEANER CO aka Agco. Both the Gleaner and Massey come out of the same factory now, GOOD or BAD!

If he had bought a Gleaner he would have a whole lot more troubles than what he has now.Any of you Gleaner boys see what your 2 or 3 year old Gleaners are worthIJ

Yea I have to stay off the roads because everyone here in Ill is running to All the dealers looking for a used Massey.(RIGHTIJIJIJ) lets not start that again were all in the same company like or not and I think neither one of us like it but it isnt going to change a thing. If the Gleaner is Junk then the Massey is to because they come from the same factory The sad part is that AGCO is going to destroy the company the way there doing things and that isnt good for me or you .Go to machinery talk and look at how they are bashing AGCO for changing things. I just hope the company holds together because were down to three companies now. IllINOIS GlEANER

Concaves are set in accordance to the manual. Sidehill lose only happens when the machine is tillted to the left never to the right. It is most noticeable when harvesting corn. I know of a dealer that makes a kit consiting of a steal plate that bolts directly under the rotor concave on the front left hand corner to direct grain back toward the center of the cleaning shoe. I was thinking about triing that but wondered if anyone else had any other ideas.

Sorry to cause a color war, that wasn't my intent. Kw happens to be a neighbor and personal freind. We are always ribbing one another on our preferance on company brands. I've always had good luck with this shade of red combine. Yes they do break down, but so do all the other colors. If they didn't who would buy all those parts that the respective company had to sell. As for John, it seems that he might be either under confident about his decision on equipment to let a comment directed to someone else effect him this way, or way to over strung.

Bov, read the Gleaner page more often and you will see why we come down on bashers. I am not high strung, and very confident with my N series Gleaner that has given me less than $1500 repairs in the 5 yrs that I have owned it and most of that was because of previous owner neglect. last Fall we had green people and Massey Man stirring up trouble over on the Gleaner page. I have owned a Gleaner for almost 25 yrs now and am more than pleased with the service that the machines and dealer have given me. Prior to Gleaner I owned a Red one(IH) was not as pleased but I don't go on the Case site and bash them. Massey's are a thing of the past in my area, most 540,550,750,and850's are in the salvage yard now, WORN OUT! And anything newer isn't there, Deere, Case, Gleaner, and NH are how they are ordered. We have no MF dealers close anymore, Deere is the closest followed by Case and etc. As Illinois Gleaner and I both stated, we are Both in the same ship now, let's not make it sink!
