northernfarmer, I farm in Utah, but bought the combine out of Manitoba. They where asking high 40's US money for it and I worked out a trade on my 86' 860. They allowed 18k for the 860, and a difference of 16k for the trade. So it worked out to 34K total price, and then there was $1,500 for shipping so I guess it would have been $35,500 for the deal. I really like the combine! Cut corn with it and it done a awesome job. Cleaner sample than the 1680 and would travel 1 to 1.5 mph faster. I am excited to try it out in 130 bu. barley and 160 bu. wheat this summer. Hopefully it will do a good job, and I will find a way to make it so I can leave a windrow behind it so we can bale the straw. If you have any tips on how to make the old girl pur, please let me know.
