Combines 860 cylinder speed

Waldo, did you try adjusting the adjustment range, its a threaded shaft with 2 nuts locked together, this limits both the high and the low end speeds, to which the actuator is attached.

Yes i did that.I disconected the cylinder and pushed the pulley as far as i could and got a few more rpm.The belt is at least 1 inch from the outside of the pulley.Could the belt stretchIJThanks for any ideas.

I had the same problem, Not sure how many hours on the belt, but changing it will make a difference if it appears smaller. The new one will ride higher on the pulleys, and give you more RPM. 1100 should be well within reach. Not too bad a job to replace belt, just follow manual, or look for a service manual. Happy harvesting.

I have ad the same situation in the past and I have found that another thing that can cause the cylinder speed not to go up to the limit is if there is a lot of dust and dirt along the inside groove of the outside half of the pulley,I just slow the cylinder speed down as slow as it can go and then take off outside half and clean all out and it has always seemed work better.
