Very simple to change, just as you suspect using the threaded holes and bolts. I don't think I've ever had one of these give me grief. Be aware of the two seals you will need to change when replacing this bearing, and remember to install with lips out. Feederhouse removal may be necessary if you need to change shaft or blades, but it seems to me this is possible to be done on machine as well. Sometimes when pulling bearing it may shift shaft in lH bearing, may need to reseat shaft.
