Combines 8630 help

I needed an engine for my 8640 and I happened to find a 8630 for $8500.00 with a 400hr drop in reman from John Deere the dealer had a copy of the work order $27,000 (had a pile of work in the rear end) but we took the motor and someone swiped the hyd pump and I sold the rest for $5000.00. you may want to go and buy another tractor and part yours.

There is a big Tractor Salvage place in Annamoose North Dakota I don't know his phone number but call information they will have it- the name is either Pete's or Joe's Tractor salavage.

The local JD shop just sent an 8630 with motor, injection pump, and transmition problems to Meyers tractor salvage in South Dakota.

Obviously you are out of date. Abilene Machine in Abilene, KS will have what you need.

Man, it is a small world. I shucked the front end out of my '75 8630 May 30. I called all salvage yards I could think of. I ended up in Abilene. I bought a complete assemble. Give them a call...800-255-0337.
