Combines 8650 question

A couple of things that you could check. I think that the 619 has two thermostats-one could be bad. When you cleaned the radiator, did you have it taken apart and roddedIJ Some tubes could be plugged. My neighbor has an 8650 and had to replace the fan a couple of times because the dust would eat up the blades. As I remember that is a "turbine" style fan on that. You said that you replaced the temp. sensor and it helped. I would install an old fashioned mechanical temperature gauge in place of the stock sensor and work the tractor to see if it is really overheating. If it is steaming and boiling over your trouble might even be as simple as a bad radiator cap. I hope that this helps. If you were to replace this tractor I have seen some of those Kinze conversions and they are great machines.

Don t even contemplate getting a Kinze repower in the 8650.Go do the next best thing.Go get a John Deere 8760.Its 300hp ,nicer cab, bigger wheelbase and a much more newer design and layout. The cab is bigger and has got much more glass then the 8650.Plus you will be away from the design of the 8630,8640,8650 and on to the more modern design of the 8760
