Combines 8780 to 8780xp

I dont have any real experience with the machines, but what I have read. Does your xp have the squirrel cage fan (turbo fan) or the old paddle fanIJ I know in the new machines (9790),they implemented the turbo fan, a more aggresive front beater, and longer cylinder bars with some type of disrupters also. I think in the XP they have at least the newer style beater, dont know about the fan or the cylinder updates. Ask your dealer about these changes, he will know. Kinda hard to believe he didnt tell you what was new and improved when he tried to sell you the machine. If you go to Farmphoto.com, you can find pictures of the new rotor assembly.

If you had the updates done to your old 8780 there won't be very much difference.It is one hell of a combine.I also agree on the literature thing,way to much time.
